A San Antonio city council committee is considering a potential ban on horse-drawn carriages in the city. Stephanie Garcia, owner of Yellow Rose and HRH Carriages, takes issue with a council member's description of the carriages as cruel and inhumane, saying her horses are treated well. At 10 a.m. today, the Governance committee will discuss the issue and decide whether to refer it to the council's Transportation and Infrastructure Committee.
