The Astros knocked off the Rangers in the series finale. Houston defeated Texas 8-5 at Minute Maid Park. Jose Altuve blasted two home runs in the win. Marcus Semien and Evan Carter homered for Texas in the loss. Cristian Javier earned the win, while Nathan Eovaldi was charged the loss. Houston improved to 6-and-11, while Texas slipped to 8-and-8. The Rangers visit the Detroit Tigers tonight, while the Astros host the Atlanta Braves.
