The Astros were swept on the road in Kansas City. Houston lost to the Royals 13-3 in the series finale at Kauffman Stadium. Yainer Diaz hit his third homer of the season on a solo shot in the fourth inning. Starting pitcher Hunter Brown was charged the loss after he gave up nine runs on 11 hits and recorded just two outs before getting pulled in the first inning. The Astros have lost three in-a-row to slip to 4-and-10. They return home to host the Texas Rangers tonight. Right-hander J.P. France is slated to start opposite Texas righty Dane Dunning.
