The Astros lost to the Royals for the second straight day. Houston fell to Kansas City 11-2 at Kauffman Stadium. Yainer Diaz was 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored in the setback. Starting pitcher Spencer Arrighetti was charged with the loss after he allowed seven earned runs through three innings of action. The Astros are now 4-and-9 heading into their series finale against Kansas City this afternoon. Right-hander Hunter Brown is slated to start opposite Royals righty Brady Singer.
