The Astros were knocked off in extra innings. Houston fell to the Kansas City Royals 4-3 in 10 innings at Kauffman Stadium. Yordan Alvarez was 4-for-5 with two RBIs, while Jeremy Pena went 2-for-5 with a run scored. Wander Suero was charged with the loss after he allowed the game-winning run in the bottom of the 10th. The Astros had a two-game win streak snapped to slip to 4-and-8. They will visit the Royals again tonight.
