Cristian Javier led the Astros to an 8-0 shutout win over the Toronto Blue Jays at Minute Maid Park. Javier totaled three strikeouts, walked five batters and allowed one hit through five scoreless innings on the mound. Seth Martinez, Rafael Montero, Tayler Scott and Dylan Coleman closed the game out with four hitless frames. Yordan Alvarez was 4-for-5 and belted his first two home runs of the season. Jeremy Pena homered and totaled three RBIs. The Astros won two of three over Toronto to improve to 2-and-5. They visit the Texas Rangers tomorrow night.
