The Texas attorney general's office is investigating an aircraft parts manufacturer following several mishaps involving Boeing jet airliners. Attorney General Ken Paxton is demanding documents from Spirit AeroSystems of Wichita, Kansas. Paxton says he'd like to know if defects in the company's components led to several recent crashes and an in-flight emergency. He'll be looking into whether the company's "diversity, equity and inclusion" policies may have contributed to any flaws in the parts it supplied to Boeing.
