The U.S. Supreme Court is hearing a lawsuit from Texas that seeks to take a common abortion-inducing drug off the market. Last year a conservative federal judge sided with pro-life groups seeking to ban mifepristone. The plaintiffs claim the Food and Drug Administration didn't properly vet the safety of the drug before approving it in 2000. Tuesday's arguments seemed to indicate most justices may be willing to preserve access to the drug.
