Construction is underway on a new elementary school in Uvalde to replace Robb Elementary. The new school will feature upgraded security measures, including keyless entry points, nine-foot-tall gates, and an access road for first responders. The Uvalde Moving Forward Foundation says construction started on March 4th. The unnamed new school is expected to cost at least $51 million. The foundation says about 68% of the money has been raised.
