Texas authorities say the sister-in-law of Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell was inebriated when she died in a car accident last month. Angela Chao was the CEO of the New York-headquartered Foremost Group shipping company and the sister of former cabinet secretary Elaine Chao. A new report by the Blanco County Sheriff's office says Chao drove her Tesla into a pond on the night of February 10th after having dinner and drinks with friends at her ranch near Johnson City. The report says Chao's vehicle had been submerged for about 20 minutes when deputies arrived. A toxicology report found her blood alcohol level was over point-two percent.
