Dallas Stars Unveil Mike Modano Statue Outside American Airlines Center

There's now a statue of Dallas Stars captain Mike Modano outside the American Airlines Center. Modano was on board when the Minnesota North Stars moved to Dallas in 1993. He led the Stars to their only Stanley Cup victory in 1999. He racked up a lot of team records before retiring in 2011, and the Stars retired his Number 9 jersey in 2014. The statue was unveiled during the first intermission of the Stars' home game against the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday.
