The Spurs brought NBA action to the Moody Center in Austin on Friday night, as San Antonio hosted the Denver Nuggets.
Despite the Spurs losing to the Nuggets 117 to 106, Victor Wembanyama made history, becoming only the second player since blocks were officially recorded in the 1973-1974 season to record 200+ blocks and 100+ made threes in a season, joining Raef LaFrentz in 2001-2002.
Wemby also became the first rookie with 200 blocks in a season since Tim Duncan did it in the 1997-1998 season.
Wembanyama had 17 points, nine rebounds, two assists, two steals and three blocks in the game.
Jeremy Sochan had 19 points and 10 assists, while Devin Vessell added 17 points in the game.
The Spurs, who are 14-53, are back in action on Sunday in a game against the Nets.
