Southwest Airlines says it's cutting back it's capacity plans and re-evaluating its financial forecast for this year, thanks to the problems with Boeing. The Dallas-based carrier says Boeing informed them they will only be able to deliver 46 Boeing 737 Max 8 planes this year. That's down from the 58 planes Boeing indicated they would deliver and well below the 79 Max planes Southwest had wanted. Southwest CEO Bob Jordan said at an industry conference today that "Boeing needs to become a better company."
