District 23 Congressman Tony Gonzales will be facing a runoff election after failing to get a majority of the votes in yesterday's Republican Primary election. Gonzales picked up about 46% of the votes, with Brandon Herrera finishing second with about 23%. There were four candidates in the race. Gonzales and Herrera will be in a runoff in May. The winner will face Santos Limon, who won the Democratic nomination in the race.
