The Cowboys are not planning to use their franchise tag on Tony Pollard this offseason. ESPN reports that Pollard, the Raiders' Josh Jacobs and the Giants' Saquon Barkley are all expected to become free agents. Each player would command more than $12 million next season if franchise tagged. The Tennessee Titans already ruled out tagging power back Derrick Henry, while the Los Angeles Chargers dynamic tailback Austin Ekeler is also expected to hit the open market. The free agency negotiation period begins on March 11th.
