The University of Texas System board of regents has approved Steve Sarkisian's new contract. Sarkisian will now receive a raise and contract extension through 2030. He now has a guaranteed salary of $10.3 million this year. The four-year extension makes Sarkisian one of the highest-paid coaches in college football. He is also eligible to earn more than $1.5 million in bonuses if the Longhorns win a national championship.
