Former Rockets Star Robert Reid Dies At 68

Rockets fans are mourning the death of former Houston star Robert Reid on Monday at age 68. The Rockets organization announced Reid's death on Tuesday. Houston drafted the 6-foot-8-inch forward in the second round in 1977, and he played a major part in two NBA Finals runs in 1980-81 and 1985-86. Reid was a fan favorite and a threat on both offense and defense. He later played for Philadelphia, Portland, and Charlotte.
