Texas officials say they plan to put more razor wire barriers along the border. On Thursday, Major General Thomas Suelzer with the Texas Military Department said they'd be placing more barriers north and south of Eagle Pass in the weeks ahead. The numbers of illegal immigrants crossing the border in the area have been reduced in recent months, and increased razor wire fences are intended to build on that success.
