The Rangers will be without one of their star players for the next few weeks. Texas manager Bruce Bochy said that third baseman Josh Jung is expected to be sidelined for approximately three weeks due to a low-grade calf strain. The 26-year-old sustained the injury while fielding grounders last Friday. The 2023 All-Star is coming off a season where he batted .266 with 23 home runs and 70 RBI. Jung was selected by the Rangers with the eighth overall pick in the 2019 draft out of Texas Tech.
