Online petition drives are gathering hundreds of signatures both opposed to and supportive of a proposed county park in the northwest region of Bexar County. The proposed park would be located near Talley Road and Medio Drive and would cover fifty acres. Bexar County has allotted three-million dollars for the project. Opponents say they don't want the added traffic and potential crime the development could bring. Supporters say they would like to have a park nearby for their families. The county is accepting online petitions and comments until March 15th.
