Luka Doncic Scores 73 Points In Game Against Atlanta

Dallas point guard Luka Doncic had a night to remember after scoring 73 points for the Mavericks in their 148-143 victory against the Hawks in Atlanta. The scoring affair was just the league's 15th ever 70-plus point game and ties him fourth all time with Wilt Chamberlain and David Thompson. It was the second to happen this year with Doncic joining Philadelphia 76ers Center Joel Embiid, who put up an even 70 less than a week ago. The 2018 draft saw Doncic traded by the Hawks to the Mavericks for eventual all-star Trae Young and a draft pick that would become Cam Reddish.
