All 98 of the schools in the San Antonio ISD are closed today and Friday for assessment and repairs of heating problems. School officials say widespread heating system failures resulted in cold classrooms this week. In a news conference on Wednesday, Superintendent Jaime Aquino said about 70-percent of the district's campuses were affected to one extent or another. He said crews will assess problems and make the needed repairs. In the meantime, a lot of San Antonio parents want to know why schools weren't closed on Tuesday.
