A pair of standout Longhorns are beginning to prepare for the next level. Texas running back Jonathon Brooks and defensive tackle Byron Murphy the Second are declaring for the 2024 NFL Draft. Brooks is recovering from a torn ACL that he suffered on November 11th, but is still ranked as ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr.'s top running back in the draft. He rushed for 1,139 yards and 10 touchdowns this season. Murphy is currently ranked as the fourth-best defensive tackle after totaling 29 tackles and five sacks this season.
