Two rail crossings at the southern border have reopened. Customs and Border Protection said operations at the international railway crossing bridges in El Paso and Eagle Pass resumed Friday afternoon. The Biden administration closed the trade routes on Monday due to a surge in migrants. The CEO of the Association of American Railroads welcomed the reopening, saying the "ill-advised closures" didn't bolster law enforcement capacity.
