One of the top linebackers in college football is preparing for the next level. Texas A&M linebacker Edgerrin Cooper announced that he will be declaring for the 2024 NFL Draft and opting out of the team's appearance in the TaxAct Texas Bowl. Cooper has played in 45 games for the Aggies over the last four seasons and finished this year with 83 total tackles, eight sacks and two forced fumbles. He is currently listed as ESPN NFL Draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr.'s top-ranked off-ball linebacker.
