The San Antonio City Council is giving the green light to the construction of a new terminal at the San Antonio International Airport. Council members voted on Tuesday to allow city staff to finalize a billion-dollar contract with the Hensel Phelps Construction Company. The Colorado-based firm is one of the nation's largest aviation construction contractors. Construction of the 17-gate terminal is expected to start about a year from now and to be completed in 2028.
