The Astros are making adding a new face behind the plate through free agency. ESPN reports that Houston and catcher Victor Caratini have agreed to a two-year, $12 million deal. The 30-year-old spent the past two seasons with the Milwaukee Brewers. He batted .259 with seven home runs and 25 RBI in 62 games last season. The decision to sign Caratini could signal that the team is not planning to re-sign Martin Maldonado.
