Texas Democrats In DC Urge DOJ To Undermine Operation Lone Star

A dozen Texas congressional Democrats are urging the Justice Department to do something about Gov. Greg Abbott's Operation Lone Star. Twelve of the 13 Democrats representing Texas in Congress signed a letter to U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland on Monday, asking him to assert federal authority over the governor's border security initiative. Abbott has sent National Guard soldiers and state troopers to the border over the past three-years to counteract what he describes as Biden's failed border policies.
