San Antonio Zoo celebrated a historic moment with the grand opening of its newly transformed entrance. This momentous milestone represents a significant leap forward in enhancing the guest experience, promoting accessibility for all, and celebrating the vibrant cultural heritage of San Antonio.
The redesigned entrance now welcomes visitors with a vibrant and culturally inspired ambiance that reflects the rich heritage of San Antonio. The reimagined entrance offers improved functionality, dedicated entrances for school groups, and enhanced accessibility for all visitors.
Among the highlights of the event was the unveiling of H-E-B Plaza, located inside the entrance. The Entrance Grand Opening event showcased various cultural activations, including performances by the Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center, Mariachi Los Galleros de San Antonio, and Danzavida. Attendees also had the opportunity to witness the unveiling of the Legoland Discovery Center's San Antonio Zoo entrance LEGO-model and participate in Marty Leal's commemorative poster signings.
