A new study says Texas has more feral hogs than any other state. Data collected by the University of Georgia indicate that the hogs are found in all but one of the state's 254 counties. The destructive swine are one of more than 800 invasive species in Texas. Georgia, Florida, Mississippi, and Oklahoma round out the top five most infested states. Most of the hogs live in the South, but they've been seen as far north as Wisconsin and Vermont. Their high fertility rate and their ability to eat almost everything have led to a rapid population growth.
