The San Antonio Independent School District Board of Trustees is expected to take a final vote this evening concerning the proposed closure of a number of schools. Thousands of students and staffers are waiting to find out if their schools will be shut down next year. The vote will wrap up a process that started in June to reduce the number of schools in the district because of declining enrollment. On Friday, the district released its final recommendation for school closures and mergers.
