Spirit Airlines To Add Nonstops From San Antonio To Tampa Next Year

Spirit Airlines plans to provide nonstop service between San Antonio and Tampa as of next year. Starting January 11th, the low-cost carrier will fly from San Antonio to Tampa International Airport four times a week, on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. So far the flights are scheduled only through April 5th, but airport officials hope that may change. Since beginning service in San Antonio a year ago, Spirit has added seven destinations including Tampa. Tickets for the new nonstop flights are on sale already.
