The Big 12 is unveiling football schedules for the new 16-team conference. Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado and Utah are the new teams set to join the conference from the Pac-12 in 2024. They will join current members Baylor, BYU, UCF, Cincinnati, Houston, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, TCU, Texas Tech and West Virginia. The Big 12 said that the new schedule prioritizes geography, historic matchups and rivalries as well as competitive balance. There will be nine conference games per season, with each team set to play every other at least once at home and away between 2024 and 2027.
