The Rangers are one win away from claiming their first World Series title in franchise history.
Texas held off the Arizona Diamondbacks for an 11-7 victory in Game Four of the World Series at Chase Field. Corey Seager hit a two-run shot to highlight a five-run second inning by Texas, while a three-run blast from Marcus Semien an inning later put the Rangers ahead 10-0.
Marcus Semien finished with a game-high five RBI, while Travis Jankowski stepped in with two RBI in place of the injured Adolis Garcia. Texas starter Andrew Heaney earned the win after striking out three and allowing one run through five frames.
Arizona starter Joe Mantiply was charged with the loss after letting up a run in just one-and-a-third innings of work. Lourdes Gurriel Jr. hit a three-run homer in the eighth inning and finished with four RBI.
The teams will meet for Game Five on Wednesday night in Phoenix.
