Texans Lose To Panthers

The Texans couldn't keep Bryce Young and the Panthers winless. Houston lost to Carolina 15-13 in Charlotte. Eddy Pineiro kicked a 23-yard field goal as time expired to propel the Panthers to their first win of the season. C.J. Stroud, taken second in the draft behind Young, completed 16 of 24 for 140 yards and also ran for a touchdown. Andrew Beck also found the end zone on the ground. Houston is now tied for second in the AFC South at 3-and-4 and will host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week Nine.
