The city of San Antonio will soon offer a program to help people pay for home improvements. The Neighborhood and Housing Services department will provide funding through a forgivable loan. The program will take applications starting next Monday and continuing through November 20th. More than 3,500 residents applied last year, and city officials expect the demand to be higher this year. Qualifying families must make less than $63,000 a year and live in a single-family home that needs improvements.
