A plan to help Texas families pay for private school is moving forward. Yesterday, the Texas Senate gave initial approval to a bill that would create a school voucher program. If passed, the bill would create education savings accounts that would allow families to access up to eight-thousand dollars of state funds to pay for private schools. The bill now heads to the state House, where it could reportedly run into more roadblocks.
