Former Texas Congressman Will Hurd is suspending his long-shot presidential bid. Republican Hurd announced he was shutting down his presidential campaign, saying it was important to "recognize the realities of the political landscape." Hurd joined the crowded Republican field in June but failed to qualify for either of the first two GOP presidential debates. He announced Monday that he was endorsing former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley for the job.
