The Texans had their two-game win streak snapped on the road. Houston fell to the Atlanta Falcons 21-19 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Rookie C.J. Stroud passed for 249 yards and connected on an 18-yard touchdown pass to Dalton Schultz late in the fourth quarter. Stroud set an NFL record by starting his career with 177 pass attempts without an interception. The Texans dropped to 2-and-3 on the season. They return home to host the New Orleans Saints in Week Six.
