The Rangers and Rays will kick off the MLB postseason this afternoon. Texas will visit Tampa Bay for Game One of their best-of-three AL Wild Card series at Tropicana Field. The Rangers will send left-hander Jordan Montgomery to the mound for the series opener. He will start opposite Rays righty Tyler Glasnow. Tampa Bay enters as the AL's top Wild Card team after finishing second in the AL East at 99-and-63. Texas placed second in the AL West at 90-and-72 and earned the second spot in the AL Wild Card. The Rangers won four-of-six head-to-head meetings with Tampa Bay this season. The winner of the three-game series will face the Baltimore Orioles in the ALDS.
