A San Antonio city councilman is planning a gun buyback next month. The event is scheduled for November 19th at the Alamodome parking lot. People can trade in up to 20 unloaded guns for 50 to 300-dollars' worth of HEB gift cards per weapon, depending on the type and condition of the firearm. Councilman John Courage says people can surrender guns with no questions asked. San Antonio police officers will collect the guns on site, even though Police Chief William McManus has said gun buybacks don't work.
