Rangers Lose To Mariners

The Rangers dropped their series opener in Seattle. Texas was walked off by the Mariners 3-2 at T-Mobile Park. Aroldis Chapman was charged with his fifth loss after he allowed two runs without recording an out, while Jonathan Hernandez was handed his fourth blown save. Adolis Garcia and Leody Taveras homered in the losing effort. Texas remains atop the AL West at 89-and-70. Right-hander Nathan Eovaldi will start opposite Seattle righty Bryan Woo tonight.
