Texas A&M is preparing to be without its starting quarterback for the rest of the season. Aggies head coach Jimbo Fisher said that starting QB Connor Weigman suffered a fractured bone in his foot in last weekend's win over Auburn that will force him to miss the remainder of the 2023 campaign. The former five-star recruit out of Bridgeland, Texas had passed for 979 yards, eight touchdowns and two interceptions to start his sophomore season. He also rushed for 63 yards and two more scores. Max Johnson is now expected to take over the starting job.
