The City of San Antonio Solid Waste Management is launching an educational campaign to curb illegal dumping. City crews have spent a lot of time clearing piles of trash dumped in public spaces, specifically from the area of Badger Street and I-10. Last year alone, the dedicated crew of eleven city workers cleared nine-thousand sites and collected roughly 24-hundred tons of trash. Now, the city is focused on educating the public about the hazards of illegally dumping.
