The City of San Antonio is welcoming more than 800 new citizens from nearly 90 countries. This past weekend the city hosted its largest citizenship ceremony ever at Lila Cockrell Theatre downtown. The ceremony came just months after the city welcomed more than 300 new citizens. As of earlier this month, more than 1,100 San Antonians are in the process of obtaining their citizenship and documents show more than 5,000 Alamo City residents have become naturalized this year.
