WATCH: Ken Paxton Sits Down With Tucker Carlson

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is reacting after being acquitted on all 16 impeachment articles, following his impeachment in the Texas House. Paxton had been accused of abusing his office to benefit a political donor. He denied the allegations. Had Paxton been convicted on any of the articles, he would have been ousted from office.

"Today the truth prevailed. The truth could not be buried by mudslinging politicians or their powerful benefactors. I've said many times: Seek the truth! And that is what was accomplished," said Paxton on the day of his acquittal.
