The Rangers recorded their fifth straight win with a statement win in Toronto. Texas shutout the Blue Jays 10-0 on the road at the Rogers Centre. Starting pitcher Jordan Montgomery recorded his ninth win of the season after throwing seven scoreless innings. Mitch Garver, Robbie Grossman and Nathaniel Lowe homered and combined for eight RBI in the win. The Rangers are one-game behind Houston for the AL West lead at 81-and-64. Right-hander Nathan Eovaldi will start the series finale in Toronto tonight.
