The impeachment trial of Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton continues today in Austin. Paxton pleaded not guilty on Tuesday to charges that he abused the power of his office to help a political donor. His attorney, Tony Buzbee, called the trial a witch hunt, and claimed the investigation isn't supported by the evidence. The Texas House impeached Paxton in May, and the state Senate will decide whether to remove him from office. The trial is expected to last for weeks.
