The Rangers failed to sweep the Mets on the road. Texas lost to New York 6-5 in 10 innings at Citi Field. Aroldis Chapman hit Mets right fielder DJ Stewart with a pitch to bring home the game-winning run for New York in the bottom of the 10th. Chapman was charged his third loss and Jose Leclerc was handed his third blown save for letting up two runs in the eighth. Corey Seager homered for the 25th time this season as Texas fell to 75-and-58. The Rangers return home to host the Minnesota Twins tomorrow night.
