Two people are dead and another person in critical condition after a shooting at the Arboretum shopping center in Austin. Austin-Travis County EMS says they also treated two other patients at the scene for minor injuries that occurred after the shooting. Austin Interim Police Chief Robin Henderson says officers rushing to the scene may have saved lives. She says the suspect was one of the two people who died, but she did not release details about a possible motive.
"I would like to offer condolences to the families of the victims here today, in addition to the several witnesses that witnessed this tragedy today," said Henderson.
